With the recent surge of quality Malbecs in the U.S., Argentina (worlds' 5th largest wine producer) is destined to be the next sensation in the wine import segment.
While Argentine wines are still somewhat of a novelty, many don't know that most brands sold in this country are actually mass-produced "mainstream" wines that can be found in just about every retail establishment in Buenos Aires.
Our philosophy is simple and different: instead of "mainstream" wines, we aim to bring truly hard to find and unique Argentine wines to the increasingly demanding American wine enthusiast.
"Argentina's wine industry continues to expand and improve at a rapid pace." - Wine Spectator, Nov 2006.
"There are a remarkable number of excellent wines selling for $15 a bottle or less. Of the rest, most sell for less than $50 and it is only the handful of “icon” wines that top the $100 level. Even so, when compared to what you get from Napa Valley and Bordeaux, even these high end “icons” seem like relative bargains." - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Dec 2007.
